Las Vegas

We recently stopped in Vegas on our way to a cross-country tour, and visited one of Mary's old roomates (I mean past roomate, not old) from Ricks. It was nice to have the stop and appreciate them for letting us crash at their house. They have two great kids and Natalie and Emily (not our Emily) hit it off from the get go. Natalie was apprehensive about going to someone's house she didn't know but all those fears were erased the minute we walked in their door. We went swimming, albeit a bit chilly, and had some great dinner and dessert. when we left Natalie jumped on Emily's lap and gave her a big hug. It was the best.
