Halloween Treats!

Halloween began with a yummy pumpkin pancake breakfast! Don't you love it when things turn out a bit better than expected? These were yummy and fun since the kids could decorate the pancakes like jack-o-lanterns. Who wouldn't want chocolate chips and whip cream on their pancakes? I think we should do this every year--maybe every day! Thanks for coming Payson Pratts! Here's Reed.
During the week Natalie had a fun preschool party. This picture was taken during their parade around the church bldg across the street. She came home wanting every day a party day! She loves preschool! But can you blame her? She played donuts on a string, danced to scary music, and won a cake walk game. Just these costumes make me wish it was Halloween again.

And, of course, what would Halloween be without carving pumpkins? Here are the girls with dad digging out pumpkin guts and having fun doing it. We later roasted the seed for a tasty snack.

Don't ask what we are, just know it was fun! The ward had a dinner and a trunk-or-treating activity that night! I had no idea who most of the people were, but we sure did get a lot of treats. Natalie and Emily thought that those treats were theirs too. He he. We sure fooled them. Thanks for looking cute kids so we can eat all your earnings. We call them "taxes" around here.
