This isn't your ordinary birthday picture, but I had to show you how much snow came for Emily's second birthday. The storm came out of no where and lasted for two days! We probably had about 4 or so inches! Wow! Like they say, if you don't like the weather in Ut, just wait 10 minutes. Well, besides all the weather and construction on our street we somehow managed to have a good crowd for a fun party! Emily's and Avy, her cousin, are only four days apart, so we had a joint party with the family at our house! I loved it!
Aunt Lisa made the cake and cupcakes! She did a spectacular job and they turned out so cute! The girls love babies and go nuts about anything that says ga ga goo goo, so we decided to do a baby theme. I asked Emily what she wanted for her birthday and she kept repeating "baby cupcakes" and so that's exactly what she got. They loved it! Even when party was over I asked her what her favorite part was and she said "cake." Can you blame her? Thanks Lisa!

Two happy two year olds! Did you notice the cute chocolate covered banana pacifiers that Aunt Liz made! The girls tore them apart but they did look like pacifiers. Thanks Liz!
For games we play a doll race in teams and had a treasure hunt around the house. The clues were places that Emily and Avy spend a lot of their time. Then we had a pasta bar for dinner, followed by presents, and of course cake and ice-cream. It was super special that both sets of grandparents got to celebrate with us! What would we do without them? Love you guys!

Thanks for the baby!! (ps the shirt Emily is wearing is our official "birthday shirt." Natalie loved it and waited for it diligently for her 2nd b-day so we had Emily wear it too for good time sake). Honestly, I just can't believe that Emily is two already! Its exciting though too. She is a silly girl that is developing her independence. She has a sweet side too that likes to hug and kiss. We love you Emily and are glad you get to grow up in our family!
