The Coolest Spider
Natalie is a fan of bugs and things that crawl. This spider was living outside our apartment in the bushes. It sat for about a week in the center of it's web. We think that its a Wasp Spider( genus argiope, species bruennichi). It is pretty big, maybe an inch or two with the legs. You can go here to get more info (mind you it's not for the squeamish or those with arachnophobia). It was interesting to see day after day sitting in it's web. Then one day it transformed into a very common spider: squishdus spiderous (thanks to the gardeners). So sad, Natalie was heartbroken.

That spider is very cool...as long as it only gets as close to me as my computer screen. Enjoy your darling little insect lover! Ours is almost painfully "girlie" and between the plethora of Barbies and princess shoes and dresses we can hardly breathe! This is probably my own fault, but her room looks like someone threw up various shades of pink purple and lime green (sorry, that sounds kind of gross, huh?)
