Zoomar's Petting Zoo

Here we are at Zoomar's petting zoo in San Juan Capistrano (or little Mexico as we like to call it). We've been working all week and haven't done anything exciting so we thought we'd take Natalie to the petting zoo. It was pretty fun. San Juan has a downtown district that has all sorts of little things to do. Among them was a petting zoo that Mary heard about from other moms in the ward. So headed down there Saturday afternoon and had some fun. Natalie loved the Rabbit and Guinea pig pen. They have tons of rabbits and guinea pigs in this on pen, and kids can feed them carrots and broccoli and what not. (We took our own carrots so we wouldn't have to buy theirs at the zoo) Natalie just went around and picked up the broccoli other kids dropped and fed them to the rabbits. Smart Girl! Already saving daddy money. They also had pigs, and sheep and goats and llamas. The llamas are crazy with their super flexible lips. They had some emus (though you couldn't pet them) and lots of different kinds of parrots. They also had some cockatoos and a bunch of cockatiels in the back. There were pony rides and a train that went in circles, but for some reason little kids love that. Of course we had to let Natalie ride the train. All in all it was a fun time had by all. Maybe we need to get a rabbit....
